First and foremost, let me say this, I am not a fan of shipping in the plastic bags because things get mashed and torn up...especially boxes with pointed edges on the inside. However, the shipping was fast and accurate.For the product inside - since they're not for me to use and are a gift for my sibling as a housewarming gift, I can only comment on the inspection and once over I gave the knife set before packing everything back up and preparing to send it on...This knife set is SHARP! Right out of the box. Upon close inspection, these knives do not seem to be etched with the demascus print but feel like the real deal. They're smooth and came packed with a light coating of oil. The knives seem very well weighted, even for me. I have a rather small hand and since being retired, lost some of my upper body strength. But these knives are comfortable for me, so, I know they'll be great for my sibling. The leather knife satchel is GORGEOUS!!! Everything has a place and it seems to be well made. The buckles on the outer sheathing seems to be a bit on the dainty side for such a rugged knife set but they'll do for now.I purchased this set because they're unique, handsome, and I wanted my sibling to have a conversation piece for gatherings with co-workers or new friends. I think they'll do since I cannot get over how handsome this set is for the price.
